Well-loved 6-year old Blue Heeler/Chihuahua mix. Max’s beloved owner has recently passed and he is now searching for a new forever home, one that ideally replicates the environment he has been accustomed (i.e., snuggling in your lap, sleeping under the covers and following you around all day).

We love him but cannot keep him due to allergies


Best environment for Max:
Owner is retired or works from home with no other pets or young children

Specs:
• 6.5-year old male Chihuahua/Blue Heeler mix
• About 12 pounds
• White fur with black/blue spots
• Shots up-to-date including rabies
• Licensed, tagged
Behavior:
• Very loyal to owner - will follow you around all day and cuddle in your lap
• Sleeps well and great about going outside, loves hiking
• Friendly to visitors but can be protective of owner and self
• Minimal barking but he’ll alert you to new people (hates the mailman) and he will try to let big dogs he’s in charge
