Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Angie had a rough life before being rescued. She was living on the streets with a colony of feral cats and another small dog. Angie had been hit by a car and had a bulging hernia and a broken leg. She required surgery to repair both. The Veterinarian that repaired her little body couldn’t believe how much damage she had and how she was still alive and moving as much as she was. This sweet girl just wanted to live and be loved. She has since recovered and used it fully when walking but lifts it some when moving faster. It will just take time for it to be back to normal.
Angie is leash trained, housetrained, crate trained, good with cats and dogs. She loves following her person around and often steals some of her foster mom’s clothes to lay on them in her bed. Her foster mom says she is not a barker.
Angie is also heartworm positive, but we have started her on the slow kill treatment and will continue to provide it as part of her adoption. Her adopter will be responsible for retesting her in 6 months.
We believe Angie is a terrier mix and approximately 2 years old.
**Angie is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and doing very well in her foster home. She is ready to find her family to complete her transformation. If our sweet girl sounds like a perfect match for your family, please email us at pawhuggers@gmail.com for more information or to complete an adoption application please go to www.pawhuggers.org, hover over the Adoptables tab and then click on Adoption Application.
