Scoop is a 9 year old pomXpap mix, very sweet and loving dog. Does well with other dogs, and cats. He's been around young children but is a bit shy at first but doesn't take long to warm up to them. I rescued him from someone in my home town about two years ago. Scoop recently suffered the loss of his best friend, a mixed breed whom he was inseperable. It's been three months sense the loss of his best friend, and he has retained some rather bad behaviour. He's prone to getting into the trash, and will destroy his beds tearing them to shreds. I've tried working with him on these issues but I've not been able to resolve them. He's also started to urinate on his beds, which never occured before. The loss of his companion triggered this behavior and I do not know how to correct it, so I am looking to find him the best home possible for him. He's looking for a home with someone who knows how to deal with an anxiety prone dog, who thinks he's still a puppy.
