My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sophie came to us when she was 9 months old, her previous owners were friends of ours who owned her Chi mom and Blue Heeler Dad. She was born by c-section cause her and her siblings were too big for mom, Feb. 2014 , she is 3 years old, and 25 lbs. Mom and moms sister rejected her and she needed a new home (prior to us moving on our land with all our other animals). She has had all her shots and we have her records, does great at the vet. She is great with other dogs, however, her instincts kick in and she goes after our rabbits, cats, kittnes, neighbors chickens, neighbors walking, cars, and other dogs that she is not accustomed too that come near our property, (she is very protective). She will persist farm-like animals/pets and traumatizes them, so we are searching for a good home for her with no other animal drama. She would make a great companion to someone that that is very active, and only has dogs if she is not the only dog. Sophie is very active, loves hiking, the dog park, walks on a leash, and needs a well fenced yard. She is house and kennel trained, but may mark over other dogs accidents(no-go seems to work well in this case). She will sit for treats and rides well in the car. I hope she will find someone who can give her lots of love and attention.
