Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Buttercup was adopted from a shelter when she was about 1 year old. We have her for about 5 years so that makes her around 6 years old. She has come such a long way! When we brought her home she would always hide and we were worried she'd never warm up to us, but we're so happy she did. She is a calm, sweet and simple. Her favorite activities are napping, sitting next to you while being petted, eating, watching birds out the window, and playing with toys. We have had her indoor only, and she's healthy and happy, although a little overweight. She's not a very noisy cat, but meows sometimes when she wants food, water, or attention.
This year we had a beautiful baby girl, and the girl and the cat are not getting along. The baby has allergy problems and the pediatrician recommended trying to rehome sweet buttercup. And as sad as it is to give her up it's for the right reasons. Buttercup doesn't need a lot just food, water, and love.
We hope buttercup can find a new home with people who can love and care for her.
