My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Timmy
**** Timmy is part of our TLC program. Our TLC club members receive special follow-up help when adopted into their new home including visits with a professional behaviorist. Speak to our volunteers about more information regarding our TLC members.****

8 year old male Catahoula mix that is good with people, not sure of kids or cats, basic potty trained, still has accidents.

This little guy is very high energy. Still very puppyish.

He is very shy when first meeting people but warms up after a little while, women quicker than men. He will need a home that will give him time to settle in, work on his socializing and give him lots of exercise. He is one of our TLC dogs, he will come with a session with a behaviorist to adjust to his new home. not good for apartments as he is a barker. Please note we do not have a central kennel facility, all of our pets are located in foster homes. The first step in meeting one of our furry friends is to fill out an application on our website at www.rainbowrescues.org. A volunteer will be in contact with you in 1-2 business days to review your application and speak with you about the adoption process. **Please be aware that we are not responsible for inaccurate information on some cross-posted sites such as inaccurate adoption fees and inaccurate pet info.**April 11, 2024, 7:29 am

Additional adoption info

Should you be interested in one of our furry friends the first step is to visit our website www.rainbowrescues.org and fill out an application. We will review your application, process your application, and contact you for any needed information. Once we have processed your application we will bring you to one of our locations for a meet and greet with your prospective new pet. If you and the pet are a fit we will then bring the pet to your home to conduct a home visit/inspection. If the pet is a fit with your family and lifestyle we will be turning over custody of the pet to you after the review and completion of our Adoption Agreement Document.

Rainbow Rescues Inc asks for a small
donation/fee for pet adoption. Most animals that are surrendered to us require some type of veterinary treatment whether it be shots, spay/neuter, or just an all around check-up. To off set these costs and to provide for future surrenders we must ask for a small adoption donation/fee for our animals.

Adult Dogs-$250 for dogs
Puppies (6 months and under)- $300
Senior Dogs (9 years and older)-$100
Cats-$100

All smaller animals will be determined at time of placement.

More about this rescue

Rainbow Rescues Inc is a non-profit 501(c)3 rescue based out of Massachusetts. We are a team of loving volunteers who are attempting to make the world better one pet adoption at a time. All of our animals are placed in foster homes. We do not keep any of our animals at a central location. We are committed to finding the right home for our rescued animals and educating the public on animal welfare and animal issues.

Rainbow Rescues Inc is a volunteer run agency created to help find homes for surrendered, abandoned, abused, homeless, unwanted or neglected animals. We accept all animals except for large livestock, though we will provide referral services for livestock surrenders. Each animal surrendered to our agency is evaluated for health and
temperament issues, vaccinated, and altered. We charge a small adoption donation for our animals which helps to cover the medical treatment for the animals and all of the
provisions needed for our foster homes. Please realize that no one affiliated with this rescue receives any type of compensation except for a lot of good feelings. 100% of the adoption donations and 100% of all other donations are used strictly for the animals.
