I'm Miikkii and I survived a direct hit by Hurricane Harvey! My owner and I are okay, but we lost everything. We are staying in a refugee camp/house with lots of other hurricane victims, so I have to stay crated a lot. I'm crate trained, and even like eating in my crate, but I need a new forever home! A nice lady in the house I'm staying in lets me outside during the day when my owner is at work, but the fence is gone so sometimes I take a run for it. My neighborhood is dangerous as 90% of the homes were destroyed so there is lots of glass, nails, and debris all around plus demolition and construction going on! Man, those trucks drive fast and since I'm 13 years old, I don't move as fast as I used to! I'm a neutered male, up to date on shots and heart worm preventative, plus microchipped. I do need a little dental work done and the doctor found a small heart murmur probably due to my teeth, so I really need a loving home that can help me get back into shape! I have a gentle personality and am used to other dogs, cats, and even caged animals (birds, snakes, rodents). I'm a senior, so I don't need to be around dogs that will jump on me or small children because they might hurt me. I like walking on my leash and am a really good boy! Please give me a chance at a new forever home with a fenced yard. I just want a happy, safe life with someone who will love me and take care of me. My adoption fee is only $100.
