Knight's Story...
I'm called Knight, a Maine Coon mix, and I have been living in the parking lot of a local business. Some of the people that worked there would bring me food so I shared it with the other cats that were too afraid to let people see them. I don't know why, but they stopped feeding us. We were so hungry and did our best to find food for the babies. I'm so worried about my friends, but the nice lady that is taking care of me says that she went back and got the babies and found them something called a furever home. She says that I did my job well taking care of everyone else and that it is now my turn to find a furever home. I'm such a pushover for a friendly voice and soft caresses that I would give you all the affection I have to give! They said that I was born about March 13, 2014.
Knight has not yet been tested for feline leukemia and FIV, but will be before going to his furever home. Knight has been dewormed, and is up to date with all his shots. He requires a home where he will never be declawed, or allowed to go outside.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Knight, a Stafford Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Stafford, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Stafford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Stafford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Stafford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Stafford paves the way for another one to be saved.
