Chipa's Story...
Chipa is a sweet Pyrenees cross pup. Born mid January, he was one of 3 pups rescued from some farm land in north Georgia when he was 6 weeks old. Chipa adapted quickly to his foster home and the various adult dogs, crate trained very quickly and is doing well with his house training. Chipa is current on puppy shots and will be neutered and microchipped before going to his forever home. Adoption Fee is $250. For more information and an adoption application please contact 1dogrescue@gmail.com

All our dogs live in foster homes. Please contact the foster home email listed for more information and and an adoption application. Please note, our adoptions are not done on a "first come first serve" basis. We are looking for the best possible match for our dogs and reserve the right to select or refuse an application at our discretion. CAN is a 100% volunteer-based rescue and all our volunteers have jobs, families and dogs to take care of. Thank you for your patience and understanding if we don't get back to you immediately.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chipa, a Ball Ground Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever for sale in Ball Ground, or seeking a Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Ball Ground.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ball Ground already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ball Ground breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ball Ground paves the way for another one to be saved.
