Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Her friends all call her "Persy". Persephone is a wonderful dog with a very sweet demeanor. She just loves to be petted and will lean into you to get more. This poor girl had been taken in by animal control after they investigated complaints by neighbors that she was being left tied up outside with no food or water. Because of this, Persy has shown a tendency to protect her food which is understandable given the situation she came from. We have been working with Persy to help her understand that from now on she will always have plenty of food on a regular basis. Persy will need an understanding owner willing to help her continue with her with this training and so it probably would be best if she were the only dog in the house. This gorgeous Rotti mix is about 5-6 years old and weighs 90 pounds. Please help Persephone find the loving home she deserves.

Persephone's' adoption fee is $100. This covers all their age-appropriate shots and vetting.
**If you are coming to an adoption event to see a certain dog/cat, please email ahead of time to make sure that dog/cat will be there that day. Please email 1-2 days before the event, as some animals are placed during the week and our list is constantly changing.
