Blanca's Story...

My name is Blanca and my whole world just fell apart when my family took me to the pound as they had too many dogs. It seemed I was one of the dogs who had to go for some reason and I have no idea why as I am such a good girl. I am a little shy right now when I meet people as there have been so many big changes in my life, but it does not take me very long to make friends and then you will see my affectionate and playful side. I am potty-trained and I hear that’s a great thing! I love my walks and will walk happily by your side. In the house, I am happy to relax and play with my toys until you have time to come and rub my belly. I need a quieter home and a patient and loving family who will never give up on me. Please come and meet me!

If you are interested in meeting Blanca, please download the Adoption Questionnaire, fill it out and fax it back to us at (310) 362-0321. You can also meet this and/or other available dogs at our weekend adoptions.

[Blanca is about 6 years old and weighs 18 lbs.]

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blanca, a Marina del Rey Chihuahua/Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Pug for sale in Marina del Rey, or seeking a Chihuahua/Pug dog from a breeder in Marina del Rey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marina del Rey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marina del Rey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Pug breeders who help with Chihuahua/Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marina del Rey paves the way for another one to be saved.
