PENDING ADOPTION/HIS NEW HOME WILL BE IN NJ! This poor guy has had less than a happy life. A young man picked him up on the road and brought him in. Pookie was a mess he was matted, we thought he was much older than what he is. he is aprox a yr old, he was under weight, smelled of urine, nails that had grown into his pads making it very hard for him to walk and they were infected, on top of that had a bad UTI and infested with fleas. He has had his uti treated with antibiotics, advantix ii applied, he has greying spot on his eyes we thought he was blind but he sees perfect maybe some type of object hit his eye, nails and grooming done. He was walking for several wks very off almost like his life was lived in a crate; he would take two steps then plop to a sit but now he can make it through the house and run. He has only barked once in the month he has been in foster care, and at night time he does not bark or whine he makes the cutest lil humming noise to let you know he is ready for bed time and cuddle. He gets along with dogs of all sizes, and cats. He likes kids but young children need to be careful is only aprox 8 to 10lbs right now. This boy needs a pampered home and be someone lil baby for his entire life. he is very mellow & sweet! this breed needs regular bath's brushing/grooming.
