My story

Butterscotch was rescued from a kill shelter, He loves other kitties and good with people too, he especially likes to rub against your leg and smile at you. Butterscotch is just beginning to like being picked up and cuddled, he's more "let me keep you company" kind of kitty.
Butterscotch likes his toys and the scratching post & cat tree; he uses litter box. He would be a good buddy for your kitty since he likes every kitty he meets. He is also good friends with some of his fellow foster kitties, especially Jack a super friendly Brown tabby-Bengal mix. (Jack does like to be picked up and sits on lap and wants to sleep with you.)

Please consider him for your home.

Butterscotch is neutered, microchipped for ID, negative for FeLV/FIV, current on shots, dewormed and flea free.

For more information please e-mail phyllis891@att.net. Thank you! He may be at our next bi-monthly Saturday adoption event from noon to 4:00pm at Petco, 32391 Camino Capistrano, San Juan Capistrano, CA ?92675 in Plaza Del Rio Shopping Center. This is just a few minutes off Fwy 5, take the Camino Capistrano exit #81.

Please visit our website at http://www.southerncountiesrescue.org for our adoption schedule and an application.

More about this rescue

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit cat rescue group (+ a few dogs). We rescue abandoned cats & kittens from the streets and high kill city animal shelters in Orange, Los Angeles, Imperial and San Diego counties. We also help people who need to rehome their pets through our Community Foster Program in that we post the cats on our internet sites and accept applications for them. We also help the owner screen applicants and bring their cats to our adoption events but we cannot physically take them since we are foster based. We do not have a physical shelter, we foster in our homes, not in cages which is a more natural environment for cats. Lastly, we help reduce the number of unwanted kittens with TNR (Trap-Netuer/spay-Release) by loaning traps and instructing others on how to TNR and by referring people to low cost S/N clinics.
