My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Thor is a sweet Yorkie boy who is 6 years old and weighs a healthy 12 pounds. Thor is being fostered in North Port, FL.

UPDATED BIO 05/11/2017: Thor says Spring is still in the air!! His latest vet visit went well and his weight of 12 lbs seems to be ideal!! No chubs but just a muscular pup!


Thor has Dry Eye Syndrome and his right eye will need to be treated on a daily basis with a couple of drops of Tacrolimhus and Vetropolycin for the rest of his life. This isn’t a big deal as both drops purchased at the vet costs about $35 per month.


Thor continues to amaze his foster parents with his sweetness all the time. If you want kisses non-stop and a very handsome pup all wrapped up in one, then Thor has both of those wonderful qualities.

UPDATED BIO 04/15/2017: Thor had a great check-up with the vet. He is already lighter by 1 lb and is as feisty as ever. He really enjoys his walks and especially enjoys playing with toys – this activity keeps him busy most of the day.


Thor does have a condition called KCS, or Keratoconjunctivitis Sicca. It occurs when the body doesn’t make enough tears to keep the eyes lubricated. He has vision in both eyes, with an immature cataract in the left eye; the extreme dryness of his right eye is treated on a daily basis with a couple of drops of Tacrolimhus and Vetropolycin. It’s likely that he will need one or both of these drops for the rest of his life.
