Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mackenzie is one of the sweetest young cats you could hope ever to meet. She was dropped off at a farm in the middle of winter. Barely more than a kitten herself, she seemed to have a belly larger than your usual stray. Sure enough, Mackenzie was in a motherly way. She gave birth to 4 darling little kittens in late March. All of her kittens have been spoken for and now Mackenzie is looking for a home of her own-once her motherly duties are finished of course.
Everyone who has met Mackenzie has been struck by her remarkable personality! She has a calm, gentle nature and quietly coos and chirps greetings to visitors. She absolutely loves dogs and calmly welcomed 2 large dogs as babysitters for her tiny kittens. She is also very tolerant of young children.
Mackenzie still has her kitten nature, however, and enjoys playtime and chasing toys.
In the words of her foster dad-"Mackenzie may be the nicest cat we have ever fostered" (and there have been many!)
Mackenzie tested negative for feline leukemia/FIV, is vaccinated, litter trained and will be spayed in late May. If interested in adoption contact DiAnne 570-490-4117 or e-mail cassieleo@aol.com.
