My story

Jonathan-male
Breed: Treeing Walker/Pittie mix
Age:4 years old
Weight: 70 pounds

Jonathan is professionally trained and is very obedient. He will need a home that will continue with his training to keep his skills consistent. Jonathan is very anxious around new people and dogs. He is looking to be a homebody. If he needs to go out in public, he must be muzzled for his safety.

- Jonathan is house & crate trained
- He does great with basic commands (sit, lay down, stay, wait, come)
- He's a very sweet and playful guy, and he loves to snuggle up with his family
- Jonathan does well with other dogs with proper introductions
- Not suitable for dog parks/dog bars

Before emailing- please read:
- Yes, this dog is available for adoption
- The adoption fee for Jonathan is $256
- Apply at c2cnd.org
- The adoption fee covers their age appropriate shots, microchip, deworming, spay/neuter, and any other medical expenses while in our care.
- Local adopters only. Due to our thorough adoption process including home visits, we limit our adoptions to local families in the greater Charlotte area.
- If you have any additional questions, email us at dogs@c2cnd.org and we will respond as soon as possible!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

To begin the adoption process, please complete the adoption application online. Please see our adoptable pets page for a list of the current pets that we have for adoption. All interested applicants must complete an adoption application for the pet that you are interested in. Applications are considered in the order in which they are received. One of our volunteers will review the application and contact you via email or phone to ask any questions that we might have. We also reserve the right to perform a home visit for any adoption. During a home visit, a Catering to Cats and Dogs volunteer will come to your house to see where your new pet will live. If you are not sure which one of our adoptable pets would be right for you, please contact us and we would be happy to advise you as to which pet may be a match, just let us know what you are looking for. Once your application is approved and a match is found, you will be required to sign an adoption contract and pay the recovery fee
