Gunner came to my home as a pup from a local breeder. He is a pure bred German Shorthaired pointer and he is 11 months old. He loves every person and dog he meets and definitely loves attention. He is a very sweet dog and it has been very hard to put him up for adoption but I just don't have the space and time to give him the exercise and attention he needs. He is a very high energy dog that needs a lot of interaction and daily activity to keep him content. His breed is intended for hunting so he needs a lot of stimulation and things that will keep his mind working, he's very smart. I wouldn't recommend a home with small children only because he is a jumper. He also isn't good with cats because he loves to chase them and because of his hunting instincts I'm not sure what he would do if he caught one. This is one of the reasons I cannot keep him inside and I'm worried what to do with summer around the corner. A fenced yard is a must and training would also be needed.
