Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ok friends....it breaks my heart to tell you my baby Abby needs to be rehomed. We can not keep her due to conflicts with our other dog. Two dominant female dogs are not a good match. We have discussed this issue with two vets and an animal behaviorist; all agree Abby is misplaced. We adopted Abby from CHA without knowing her history or background. She came to us and gave us kisses and loving, that was all it took.
She is one year old and 43 pounds. Abby is a black lab and Basenji mix. She is extremely affectionate and loves to cuddle. She is up-to-date on all her shots. She is a very athletic dog who will need someone to take her on walks. She plays well with other dogs and loves her fenced in yard to run. She doesn't mind our two cats. Abby needs to be the only family dog.
After having many dogs in our lives, this experience is so upsetting to our family, but after many days of tears and sadness, we know this is the only and best decision we can make for her.
