My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sonny is a handsome 3 month old golden colored male lab. Sonny was diagnosed with a heart murmur so his life expectancy is estimated about 9 years unless his condition should worsen. He is a well behaved puppy that plays great with other foster dogs and has learned to leave the cats alone, loves to cuddle on the couch, and is potty trained. Because of his heart murmur, the vet has recommended we do not have him neutered due to the anesthesia. Sonny is up to date with his vaccines to include 1st and 2nd puppy vaccine, bordatella and rabies vaccine. Sonny has been tested with young children and was very gentle. We are looking for a special family for Sonny because he is very dear to us. He was overlooked at the shelter and they wanted to euthanize him but we feel he deserves a loving home. Sonny doesn't know or behave like anything is different about him. The ideal family is one who will provide him with a loving home where he will be spoiled, shown affection and can financially provide for any future care he may need as he ages. He will be on medication for the rest of his life which is minimal at $5 a month. We are looking for a forever home for this special boy and if you feel you can provide that then please send us a message to meet him. His current weight is 24 pounds and we estimate he will be a large dog fully grown.
