My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Pearle ...our sweet little girl! Pearle (spelled with an –e at the end) means precious in Latin, and she definitely is! Pearle is a VERY sweet kitten, who is always receptive to a cuddle, even when she’s busy running around. Pearle LOVES to explore and play with her siblings! Pearle was born in a foster home along with her 3 siblings. Pearle will try to turn anything on the floor into a toy! She’s always ready to swat at any object to see how far it will go, then it’s time to chase it. Pearle is a typical kitten who is ready for fun. And, she has a great time wrestling and cuddling with her siblings, the more the merrier. Pearle is a gorgeous black & white tuxedo kitten with a partial white ring around her neck, a black circle on her left shoulder like a black pearl, and cute smudge of black under her nose.

Behaviorally and socially, it’s best to adopt kittens in pairs, or into a home with a playful cat. Kittens really need a playmate in their forever home…and then they can get to play, and snuggle while you're not home. Pearle needs to be adopted with her brother, Preston, since they are bonded.

If you are only interested in adopting a single kitten, and you’re home most of the day, and able to spend interactive time with a kitten, we will consider adopting out a kitten older than 4 months. Each foster home knows the kitten’s personalities best, and we follow their recommendations for single placements.

You can meet Pearle at her new foster home, Wilmette Pet Center, 625 Green Bay Rd., 7 days a week during normal store hours. (wilmettepetcenter.com, 847-251-6750)

Pearle’s ACTUAL date of birth is 3/20/17. Her adoption fee of $140 includes her vet exam, FVRCP vaccinations, FIV & Feline Leukemia testing (neg), routine deworming, microchip and spay.
