Hello! My name is Duchess II, and it is a very fitting name for me. I definitely think I'm royalty and am looking for a home who will treat me as such. I am a beautiful, three year old, long haired black tabby. I was adopted as a one year old and lived happily until my adopter decided she did not want me anymore. Instead of bringing me back to the shelter, she just took off my collar and set me outside. I was cold, hungry, lonely, and horribly matted. Luckily for me, a wonder ful neighbor noticed and took me in to a shelter. They scanned me for a microchip and tracked me back to RMFR where I was safely returned. I was so badly matted that I had to be shaved but I pull off the Lion Cut very well. But don't worry, my beautiful, luxurious mane is growing back quickly. I am a very sweet young lady who loves to explore, climb cat trees, and nap in a soft, warm bed. I love ear scratches and pets on my soft, silky fur. I get along with the other cats in the shelter but I prefer the company of humans. I am a wonderful, gorgeous, young lady looking for my furever home where I will be treated like the duchess that I am. Come by the shelter to meet me and give me love!
