My name is Leprechaun & Shamrock!

Domestic Shorthair Kitten for adoption in Rocklin, California - Leprechaun & Shamrock

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Leprechaun & Shamrock's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with cats.

Leprechaun & Shamrock's Story...
I'm one of the St Patrick's Day babies, a typical redheaded Irishman. I'm very handsome but not conceited about it, and I love my siblings and my mom. I also love to run, climb, jump, play with my toys, and especially play hide and seek! I'm very smart and like to think things over before I act. As busy as I am I love to crawl off by myself for my naps and not be any trouble. I'm bonded to Leprechaun because we love to play with each other and have a new family that will give me lots of love and toys and playtime for hide and seek.

ADOPTION PROCESS

APPLICATION:
Please contact us via Adopt a Pet and we will send you an online application. Response is usually given with 24-48 hrs.

INTERVIEW:
An adoption counselor will contact you via phone to answer any questions and if it seems like a good fit, arrangements will be made for all parties to meet with desired cat(s) at a mutually agreeable time.

APPROVAL:
If adoption is approved, a contract and adoption fee to cover veterinary costs will be required. You will be given medical files.

TIME FRAME:
Based on volunteer availability, it is possible for adoption steps to be completed same day, however it is not guaranteed. Please note that occasionally a home check, vet records/references, etc may be required and multiple people may be interested in the same cat(s) so additional time may be necessary.

WHY:
Our adoption vetting process ensures a proper feline fit for your family. You may be a wonderful pet owner but may not be the best fit for a particular cat. Also, YOU may know you are a good pet owner, but we don't. We exist because too many people view pet ownership as casual or disposable so we want to be sure the best match is made for the next 15-20 years. Your patience and understanding as to where we are coming from is much appreciated. Our adoption process is also reflective of the extremely thorough medical protocol our kittens receive. Thank you!

MEDICAL INFO:

WE DO NOT CUT CORNERS WITH OUR CATS HEALTH NOR ONLY DO THE BARE MINIMUM REQUIRED BY LAW!!! We are a quality over quantity based rescue with our cat's health and your resident pets health as priority. We don't sacrifice quality health care for lower costs or hurrying to free up space in our program like other rescues and shelters do. To provide these services, adoption fees to cover vetting costs are $150 per kitten or $200 for a pair and enables our all volunteer charitable program.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leprechaun & Shamrock, a Rocklin Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Rocklin, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Rocklin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rocklin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rocklin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rocklin paves the way for another one to be saved.
