Rosie's Story...
Rosie is a spunky 4 year old german shepherd mix! She is a long legged and long snout type dog who loves hiking, swimming, running, camping and eating. She is very friendly with humans including kids. She is a great dog in that she can be highly active and very mellow when needed. She enjoys a crate as well as laying around outside. Due to past issues with food guarding, her perfect home would be as the only animal. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosie, a Phoenix German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
