Hello there! My name is Sasha, and I am a sweet, sociable de-clawed female gray-tabby-with-white Oriental Shorthair who was born in June 2004. Just look at my large ears and triangular-shaped face! I'm active, playful, and talkative, plus I love people, kids, and other cats and have even been around dogs with no problems. But I especially love my Ragdoll girlfriend Rose, whom I mothered when she was a kitten and to whom I am extremely bonded.
We find ourselves in quite a predicament. Firstly, someone in my family has become extremely allergic to cat dander, so Rose and I have had to live outside in a great covered enclosure. Mind you, this kennel has shade and plenty of room in the grass for us to play, but it's not the same as the days when we were inside to socialize and interact with our family 24/7.
Secondly, my family is going to be forced to move and can't duplicate (because we are de-clawed) these protected outdoor accommodations in order to solve the dander dilemma. They are crying and heartbroken that they can't take us with them, so they have made the difficult decision to find us a new indoor-only home together, and only together. We love our family so much, but the shock of losing them would only be assuaged if we can remain living together in our new home.
I hope my story has touched your heart and that you will come meet me and Rose. We are such sweet, loving girls and deserve only the best of families. We eagerly anticipate moving back inside to the realm of sofas, beds, and laps where we can snuggle up to our humans -- adults as well as children -- 24/7 again.
Sasha is updated on shots, spayed, de-clawed, and ready for her indoor-only home. She is available as a bonded pair with Rose for $75, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Please click the contact button if you are interested in Rose and Sasha, and we can let you know exactly where you can meet them.
