12/23/08 - I realize that it’s a little late to have a furever home as a Christmas present, but I’m really hoping that someone will see my pretty new pictures and want me to join their family in 2009. I am doing well on my housetraining and will definitely need another playful pup to play with that is around my size. I love to lay in foster dad’s lap and just love following him around. Foster mom says that I will need a secure fenced in yard since I’m not really that fond of doing my business on a leash. Merry Christmas to everyone (especially my new family) and in the meantime I’ll see you in my yorkie dreams.
11/2/08 - Lilly here. It’s late and everyone else is asleep, but before I turned in, I thought I needed to update the public on my progress in my foster home. I was recently spayed. Yeah! No puppies for me. I love to play with my foster fursiblings, but since I am the youngest of the bunch, I have more stamina than they do. No problem, once they’ve had enough of me, I just go for the toy basket and pull out every toy I can reach. I am a very loving girl who loves to give kisses. I am puppy, but foster dad says I am very mature for my age. I do have the moments where I get into “2 year old mode”, but all in all, I’m a real sweetheart of a girl and you would be lucky to have me sleeping right next to you. I’m still working on my potting training (boy this one is hard), but seem to be doing very well in the chewing stage. We just put up the Christmas tree and the presents are all underneath it and foster mom is soooo proud of me because I am not interested in it at all. Like I said, I love my fursiblings and my toys. Well, I’ve sent my list to Santa, but just in case he’s too busy, I’ll let you know that all I want for Christmas is a loving, caring, doting family to adopt me and love me forever.
11/7/08 - What’s your favorite colors? Black and tan? That’s my coloring! What’s your favorite name? Lilly? That’s my name! What’s your favorite breed pup? Yorkshire Terrier? That’s what I am! With so much in common, we were just meant to be together. Now if you tell me that you are in your chewing stage and still potty training, I’ll think it’s fate. I am a sweet adorable little gal that finds herself in need of a new family. My previous mom loved me very much, but after losing an older dog, did not realize that getting a puppy was TOTALLY different. So, she lovingly surrendered me to rescue to make sure I get the home I need and deserve. One that knows what puppy stage is all about and knows that yorkies can live up to 15 years of age and are a lifetime commitment. Is that you? Fill out an application and foster mom will have a looky at it and let you know. Hope to see you soon. Lilly!
