BJ is such a sweet girl! She is about 3 years old and a medium sized girl, 42 pounds at her last weigh-in. She gets along great with other dogs and kids, but needs a home without cats. She walks well on a leash and loves car rides. She is house-trained, too! She has separation anxiety, and can't safely be kenneled - she is an escape artist, and she could hurt herself trying to get out of the crate. When home alone, she does fine for shorter periods if she has canine buddies to be with, but if she is by herself for several hours, sometimes her anxiety causes her to chew. She is very playful and very loving. She would love a home where someone was home with her most of the time to love and snuggle with!
For all adoptions, our fosters require a home-visit. The home-visit is to help us ensure the best match for the dog and adoptive home. We also will ensure a securely fenced yard. Our dogs are fostered in our homes as a family pet, no 'yard dogs'.
In most cases our foster dogs will require a fenced yard, there are some exceptions which are determined by the foster home since they know the dog better than anyone. Our adoption fee is $90 which covers spay/neuter, rabies vaccine, DHLPP vaccine, Bordetella, microchip and heartworm tested negative (maintained on heartworm and flea prevention).
