My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Do you think there are no pure breed dogs in shelters? Welcome Ace!
Through no fault of his own Ace was surrendered to a shelter when his family could no longer care for him. He has no idea why he was left behind, but this 9 year old (you'd never know it!) long hair dachshund is a gentleman, loves to be a lap dog and enjoys going for walks. Ace is housetrained and crate trained, neutered and up to date with vaccinations. Ace can live with other small submissive dogs his size, but he probably doesn't want to, and shouldn't have to. He's a low key guy looking for a family who will never give him up and who'll give him the many years he has to be a beloved family member again. He would be perfect for a senior couple who's home often. There are so many senior dogs who need loving homes. Please consider your home for Ace.
