My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Beebs is a very sweet girl who is eager to please. Our best guess for her breed is German Wirehaired Pointer mix. She is around 1 1/2-2 years old, 24' tall at the shoulders and still has a few pounds to add to her current 56lb weight. She is currently in a foster home with 3 other dogs and does very well with them. There is also a kitty in the foster home and she sometimes gets very interested in him but has never tried to hurt him, so dog savvy cats would be ideal if there are cats in the home. She is crate trained and does very well in the house. However, she is a very strong girl and has very limited leash training, so she will need a confident person or family who is willing to follow up with her training in a consistent and positive manner, as well as keeping her active. She is not a dog that will thrive by being strictly a couch potato. She has lived with and is currently living with children, but because of her size and exuberance, I would prefer that she is not placed with small children. She was covered with fleas and had a terrible ear infection when I first took her on, so I will be accepting applications and emails for her, but she won't be fully adoptable until she is able to be fully vaccinated.
