Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sally was rescued by my wife's aunt 3 years ago after the death of their beloved former pet. The aunt is now leaving her house to go to Peru and has not arranged for a new home for Sally. She is in urgent need of a loving home as soon as possible. She is a mixed breed dog but looks closest to a black labrador -plus pointer ears.
While she hasn't been trained to be social with other dogs, she's a fast learner and can do many tricks - including saying 'please'! She's very obediant and will come and sit when called. She's used to being outside for long periods of time but loves her comfort. She is a great guard dog and does often bark at activity outside. But she's an extremely affectionate and sometimes goofy dog (she'll lick any open skin in sight) who will do anything for a treat.
Unfortunately we can't keep her as our landlords don't permit pets. Everything with Sally's former owner has been very last minute so it's become our job to rehome her asap. We'll miss her very much.
