Are you ready to meet an awesome pet?? this is "Angela" she is a three legged furry kid.
She is an awesome dog, has a great temperament, and enjoys life a lot more than any other dog. However, because three legged dogs are unusual, they attract more people-attention during walks. Dealing with people may be one of the more challenging aspects of living with a three legged dog. So, if you love meeting people and don't mind the attraction that Angela will draw then this is your furry girl!!
Angela has been rescued with this condition - according to the vet the amputation of the leg was due to an accident or birth defect -
We know that it was done at very young age - as per the vet statement - she is able to walk, run, play fetch!! and play soccer and basketball!! yes!! she loves fetching!! she has NO limitations!!
When we share our life with a tripod dog, we naturally want to protect her from as many things as possible. It is important, though, to let a dog be a dog.
If a three legged dog is kept from doing all the things that dogs love to do, she will have lived an unfulfilled life.Angela is crate trained! she loves to ride in the car and behaves so well.
She hardly barks - she is very independent and a very happy soul:)
She is a medium size; and currently weighs about 45 pounds -
“A life lived in fear is a life half lived” ~ [Spanish proverb]
All our rescued pets have been spayed/neutered & dewormed and have received all their 3 core DHLPP puppy distemper/parvo vaccinations:) and you will get a complementary check up!!
