Oleg's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Oleg's Story...
Oleg is 8 years old.  He is from a commercial breeding facility.  Oleg is a sweet gentleman and just wants lots of love.  He does not know anything about the world as his whole life has been inside a breeding compound.  He wants to learn and is slowly coming out of his shell.  Oleg learns a little more each day with us.  He wll need to be taught how to be a good family pet and all his house manners.  He was recently shaved but his fur will grow back in nicely.  Oleg also lost most of his teeth when he received his dental, but that won' be a problem he is eating just fine. Oleg will do best in a calm, quiet envirnoment.  Children should be 12 years and older.
Remember when applying for this dog, it is from a commercial breeder facility and will require a lot of work, time and patience.  Given all that, this pet can and WILL make a great family pet and will return the love ten fold. An approved adoption application is required. The $200.00 adoption fee (payable by cash only) includes spay/neuter; microchip; dental teeth cleaning (if needed prior to adoption); vaccinations; and heartworm testing. Our adoption application may be found by going to:; then click on the link to the adoption application. Dogs for adoption may be seen by appointment only following an approved application. Proof of completion of an obedience class is required for all dogs following adoption. Please note: while we welcome out of state applications, we do not ship our animals and require adopters to come to Holland to finalize any adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oleg, a Holland Silky Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Silky Terrier for sale in Holland, or seeking a Silky Terrier dog from a breeder in Holland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Holland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Holland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Silky Terrier breeders who help with Silky Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Holland paves the way for another one to be saved.
