My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Connie, a senior tuxedo female, has had some sad experiences. Her elderly owner passed away, and she was left abandoned and locked in an apartment alone for weeks. Imagine Connie's distress, loneliness and confusion.

When we first met Connie, she was cautious around humans, and would hiss and growl at us, but behind her expressive eyes we would see her sadness and bewilderment. But Connie is now becoming very trusting with people. Feisty, yet still fearful of male cats, she now enjoys petting. Looking for a lap warmer? Look no more. Connie is great at keeping your lap warm during the purrfect bonding experience for you both.
She’s a pro with her wand toy and comes running like a kitty half her age for treat-time. This independent gal also likes her space, and tends to sleep either perched up high on top of the shelf or hide way down low in a cabinet.

Connie’s name means constant and steadfast. She will make a great, loyal companion in a quiet home where she can live the rest of her senior life. Won’t you give Connie her furever home?
