My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jules is a poster child for why dogs should not be placed onto Craigslist. Luckily for him, his outcome was a good one and he found his way into our adoption program. When his original owner could no longer keep him, he was placed onto Craigslist and given away. Unfortunately, his new owner soon found out that he was not allowed to have dogs in his apartment. So Jules was once again, given away. At some point Jules ran away and ended up at the Edison shelter, scared and confused where he remained unclaimed.

Jules has been in foster care for some time and he is ready to move onto his next great adventure! Jules is a lovable family dog. He is playful and smart and he knows all his basic commands. He is very treat motivated so that will help with any additional training that needs to be done.

Since being in foster care he is learning to be respectful to the cats residing in the home. He would still need an owner to help with his exposure and training and he would be better suited to a home with a dog savvy cat. Jules is reactive to other dogs and he will need to be the only dog in the home. He also loves going for his walks and playing a game of fetch.

Jules is up-to-date on his shots and we are in the process of getting him neutered prior to adoption. So if you think Jules is a fit for your family, please fill out an application!
