Why Lily needs a new home: I got a job in Tokyo and leave at the end of July. The person who said she would adopt Lily backed out last week. There is no way I can take her with me. She must be rehomed by July 25. I can care for her until then.
About Lily: Lily is extremely skittish around strangers and in new environments. She will run and hide until she is comfortable. Once comfortable, she is extremely loving and will jump in laps and lay down. She does not like being picked up and handled, though. She does not jump on counters or scratch furniture (does use a scratching post). She is great with infants and avoids toddlers. She is great around other cats and will rub up against dogs.
She is not current with her vaccinations because, given her skittishness, being indoors 100% of the time, and not being exposed to any other cats outside of the ones already in the house, we didn't feel it was necessary. However, I can get her up to date if needed.
