Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cocoa was born on April 1st 2008, and has been a member of our family since I received her as a Mother's Day kitten. We never thought she would be anything other than a part of our family until she passed, but life has taken a turn and we can no longer provide a caring home for her. This is very hard for us. Cocoa's an independent sole that doesn't require constant care and she picks her times of affection which have gotten closer together as she's aged. But she's not a typical lap cat. In fact when she jumps in your lap you feel honored. She does walk by and want you to pet her face. Most important she is an inside/outside cat and that is the situation we require to allow her to be adopted - sorry but no exceptions. Most nights she sleeps at the foot of our bed which is the one time during the day you can expect to pet her. She likes men and women both, is skidish about loud noises like vacuums and thunder but otherwise is a healthy, confident, playful, and lazy cat.
