Here's what the humans have to say about me:
With a heavy heart and after over a year of contemplation, my husband and I have decided we can longer keep our very special dog. We are renters in need of a new home and sadly, we cannot find an affordable place to live that is pet friendly. We are looking for a new owner who is kind, settled, home often and is also looking for a great companion.
Chloe, our beloved Shepard mix is our son's best friend. Chloe is medium size dog (about 37lbs) who absolutely adores children, carrots, walks/hikes, swimming and napping under tables.
A bit about Chloe Girl:
-12 years old with a lot of life left!
-loves water, frisbees and car rides
-loves walks/hikes (pulls a bit but not out of control)
-a rescue with sensitivity/anxiety from loud noises (please think of your surroundings and lifestyle-gunshots, sirens, nearby semi trucks etc.
-has chased cats in past but is settling down and has accepted cat with intro and time.
-tolerates other dogs with intro first, especially loves male dogs.
-no current health problems or injuries.
-potty trained and has never had an accident.
-feels safest when she is always at your side, but can be left alone INSIDE where she feels safe from loud noises. She would rather be inside than outside, but loves walks.
-very sweet and very gentle!
Chloe has some anxiety-she thrives on consistent routines, being with her owner, and exercise. She has drastically improved from when we first brought her home and now will go explore outside by herself, but it's best if you are leaving the house to leave her inside. She has never snapped/bit anyone, and is a friendly dog, but she needs introduction and a few minutes for men and then she will be everyone's best friend!
We would like to meet you and hear more about yourself and lifestyle. Will you be a good fit for each other? Chloe is truly and amazing companion and she deserves the best anyone can give her. We are happy to pet sit for free just so we can see her in the future if that would be helpful for you!
Please email me with some info. about yourself and we will get back to you. If we didn't have to move we would keep her until her last day, this is sad situation for us all so please keep in mind the above details and serious inquiries only. Thanks for reading.
