My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Snoopy as his name suggests is a Beagle. He is just 7 months old and is totally adorable but like all puppies he needs some training. Snoopy finds himself needing a home because his family did not have time for him. Like many families with young children (2, 7 and 9 years of age) they bought a puppy thinking that the children would take care of him. We in rescue know that never happens, children love puppies but these children were not old enough to take care of him and this mother of a 2 year old found herself unable to cope with a pup. We feel that Snoopy would do best in an adult home as he tends to guard his food. At his young age this is a behavior that with a little patience can be easily modified but we do not feel that at this time he should be in a home with young children.
