My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pepe was rescued from NYC animal control, where he found himself after his owners were evicted. He is a healthy 9 year old neutered Chihuahua mix who has lost weight and gained a shiney coat since coming into foster care. He has also become a very funny, cheerful little character. Pepe is both house broken and pad trained. He loves nice long walks with lots of sniffing time. During most of the day he naps quietly, as if he were accustomed to being home alone. Pepe also loves toys (he collects them under our bed), food and belly rubs. Because he sometimes guards food and toys, he should live in an adult home. He would make a sweet, low maintenance companion for a single person or couple. He gets along with both of our dogs and also likes cats.
