Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Apple will be the "apple of your eye" once you meet her. She is an 8 pound, 18 month old little terrier - sweet as can be. She likes to lay near her foster mom on a soft blanket for quiet time.
She gets very excited and does a little dance when the doggie treats come out. Apple loves to go for short walks and enjoys going for a ride in the car.
She would do best in a home with adults or with children over 10 years of age because small children scare her. She is also afraid of large dogs but likes to play with other small dogs.
(An adoption donation of $300 is required.) If you are interested in this dog, please go to the Adopt page of our website where you will find a link to an adoption application form https://www.chewdogrescue.org/index.php/adopt. If you have previously submitted an application form, there is no need to re-apply. Just let us know you're interested in this dog. We do our best to match families and dogs so everyone is pleased and the placement is permanent. We reserve the right to refuse an applicant if the home situation is incompatible with the needs of the rescue dog. Rescue is about doing our best for the dog. We do home and reference checks. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and are up to date with current vaccinations, before being placed in their forever homes.
