Cornelius's Story...
This is Cornelius. A 1 year old, 40lb. Wire-haired terrier mix. Great with other dogs..Has some energy..OK - has lots of energy. He was picked up as a stray by Animal Control in central Louisiana. While we don't know much about his past, we can tell you that this adorable Terrier mix is as darling as they come! He is easily handled and enjoys pets and pats from head to tail. Cornelius loves human attention and affection yet still can explore new situations with independence, making him the perfect family or companion dog. He is excellent with other dogs, and kids, so he would make a smooth transition into most households.Currently in foster in Ohio

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cornelius, a Norwalk Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
