Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Riley (a.k.a. Ragamuffin) is about 3 years old and full of as much energy as he has hair. Riley is a super smart and super stubborn guy who is in need of an owner who is good at being the Boss in the relationship. Our fur-bear can be super sweet and very affectionate and is very devoted to his people but will need an active home with firm rules and boundaries so that he does not assume the 'Boss' position. Riley knows lots of tricks including sit, down, beg, and paw and will very quickly learn new ones. Riley is great in his crate and loves to run around outside and has the very stubborn attitude of a terrier. You can make him do anything for a treat and you can tell he definitely loves his food (Riley is currently on an exercise and diet regimen to help him return to his less curvy physique). Riley will not do well in a home with children under 13 years of age since he does not like to share his space with other dogs or small humans. This fur-bear can do okay with some dogs but would do best as an only dog in the household and should probably not go to a home with cats since he is prone to chase them. If you have fallen in love with our Fur-bear like we have, please fill out an application! Note: Please fill out an application and a volunteer will contact you within 1-2 business days. We do not have a central office facility, all of our pets are housed in foster homes until they are adopted. Your first step in adopting a furry friend is to go to our website www.rainbowrescues.org and fill out an application. At this time, adoption fees for dogs are $175.April 26, 2024, 6:44 am
