Update: Lester is back with us due to unforeseen circumstances. Lester is still lookiing for his patient forever home that will embraace his beagleness for what it is. Lester will still need re-potty training in a new house but does well when kept to a schedule and coordinated with a bellyband (which can easily be provided to a new adopter). Our poor Lester boy is absolutely deserving of a new home and would like to have a family that will love him forever. Are you the family that can finally give this boy the home he deserves?
**** Lester is our sweet 4-5 year old Beagle boy who has come from a rough life. Lester was liberated from a lab facility where he was used as a clinical subject for practicing Veterinary Technicians. This poor boy lived the beginning of his life in a cage in a facility without the benefit of ever being in a home or knowing a loving family. Lester is very good with kids and cats and lives now with other dogs. He is working on his potty training as he has never been able to go outside before and never learned that there was an outside. He seems to be mastering the basics but will truly need some firming up in the potty training department. Lester is also on a diet as he never had the chance to exercise and was very overweight when he came in. Lester would love to be in a family where he will be showered with love and affection and where he will be able to use his Beagle skills to the fullest on lots of outdoor activities.
