Major is our 9ish year old handsome man who wants a home to spoil and love him. Major, unfortunately, lost his owner due to an illness and is looking for his next loving home where he can be his silly Cocker self. Major has a moderate amount of energy which means he is happy to snuggle on the couch or go for a walk or just hang with the family. He does okay tolerating other dogs but could care less if he had another dog to share his home with and would almost prefer a home where he gets all of the love and attention for himself. He has been to doggie daycare and done well there but did not really feel the need to play with the other dogs. Major is non reactive to cats and would do fine in a home with cats. This sweet boy is okay with kids but may get overwhelmed with a young child playing in his face too much. We would like to see him in a home with kids over 8 or very respectful kids who will respect his space and let him approach them for attention. Major is on anti seizure medication to control possible past seizures but has not shown seizure activity since joining our rescue and takes his pill like a champ( peanut butter is his favorite).
