When you are nearing the end of your life, you want the comfort of your pets, but you also worry about what will happen to them. Dixie has brought so much comfort to her human in her last days. It is now time for Dixie to spend time with another family that will love her for the rest of her li fe. Dixie is 10 years old and graying on her precious face. She is so happy to see someone, that tail keeps wagging!! She has years left to share with someone that loves her gentle nature and looking for a dog that is happy to lay on her big fluffy bed! Dixie lives with cats and does fine. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body. Dixie just lost her mom, and will be losing her home. She has always been loved and an inside pet. Dixie was such a favorite among hospice workers.
