Meet 6 year old Balboa; I'm the proud president of the Balboa fan club, and let me tell you there isn't staff or volunteer who isn't a full fledged member of his club. He's an awesome dog, great on leash, housetrained, a snuggler and sweet kisser, and a gentle treat taker after showing off a perfect sit. Just try to walk past a staff person without that person calling to Balboa, 'hey buddy', 'what's up boyfriend', 'who's the best boy Balboa?'
The only family Balboa's ever known had to give him up, and told us he lived well with another dog and his human kids. He was never socialized outside of his home so it takes him a little while to warm up to new people, and it's always best if you let him approach you. Once he likes you, he loves you, and then he LOVES you and can't wait to cuddle and give kisses.
Balboa enjoys long easy walks both with and without a canine friend, wading in the ocean, and curling up for a snuggle session after a walk. His tail wags in enthusiasm when greeting his human friends and he loves being surrounded by people he knows. Mr. Social Butterfly! His blockhead face is stunning, his physique perfect, and his demeanor quiet and respectful.
I'm happy to relinquish my title of President of the Balboa Fan Club to his new person or family as he deserves the best happily ever after.
Balboa is up to date on his vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. and 58 pounds
