Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Chewy is a male, neutered, Bichon, Age 8. Up to date on vaccines, and healthy. He is a bit overweight (about 18 lbs) due to not being walked often enough (only 2 x a day). Chewy is 75% housebroken but can have some accidents inside and will need to wear a belly band inside till you are sure he has adjusted to your schedule. I am sure with lots of walks and outside potty breaks he should come around to 100% or close to it.
Chewy's mom found him running around as a stray in her neighborhood 5 years ago and took him in and loved him. Unfortunately, she is in the hospital, on dialysis and is going to have to have her foot amputated due to diabetes. She was having a hard time walking him enough before, and now she will not be able to walk him at all or care for him properly. (She needs care herself)
Chewy is very friendly and good around people and dogs (he does not like cats). His only behavioral issue is if you drop a tissue and he grabs it he does not want you to take it away from him and may growl at you. This little sweetie would do great in a home with a retired couple or stay at home or work from home person. No young children (even though he likes them) we prefer not due to the tissue issue : )
