Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sadie is a 3 year old 8 pound Pekingese-Chihuahua mix. That makes her either a Pekihuahua or a Chikingese. She has the short muzzle of a Peke and also the curled tail and toe-in stance on her rear legs. Sadie is a little imp and a clown. She loves to play and chase and have a good time every day. With Sadie around, you are guaranteed at least one good chuckle every day.
Sadie was very shy initially. When she was brought to animal control , she was heavily infested with fleas and had been hit by a car. Sadie has healed up from that ordeal, and if you look closely you will see that the hair on the right side of her face is shorter than the hair on the left side. That's because it was shaved off to investigate the extent of her injuries when she was brought into animal control.
Sadie gets along fine with other dogs and will follow her foster mom around. She has worked her way out of her initial shyness and now rushes up for a pat on the head or a scratch on her back.
She eagerly approaches her foster mom and rolls over for a tummy rub. Sadie loves to "kill" her soft toys and chew on her rubbery nyla-bone. She is very entertaining when she decides to chase her curly tail. She barks at it and ferociously tries to attack it, but it always gets away...
Sadie has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworms. Her adoption fee is $250.
