Already, Sampson, the brindle mastiff/boxer mix has endeared himself to many since being a shelter stray and coming into rescue. Weighing 68.2 lbs., this affable 5 year old (could even be 3 his vet says), once lived in a home we believe and was treated well. Sampson is housetrained, knows and obeys basic commands and has fun with his toys. He doesn't jump up, gets along with dogs... large and small and absolutely, positively LOVES riding in cars and hiking the trails of NH! With lots of affection to give, Sammy has a gentle and calm nature. Has been hunky-dory with women, men and should be fine with older children. Active or not so active lifestyles... Sampson should fit right in! Only drawback for Sampson is his intolerance being crated and interacting with cats. Thankfully, no destructive tendencies when left alone.
