Meet Ava! She is a 4-month-old Manchester Terrier mix approximately 14lbs. I believe her full growth will put her just about 20 to 25lbs with a possibility of getting slightly bigger as we don’t know exactly what she is mixed with. Could be a Lab or a Dobbie, just not sure. She is very petite with slender legs and body frame. She is a very active puppy and WOULD love another playful companion to live with. She loves everyone and everything especially loves to sit on your lap and lean into you for love and attention. I believe she wasn’t always treated well as she is very shy and somewhat nervous at first when she meets new people. Once they love on her, within minutes she is all over them showering them with love and kisses and tempting them to play with her. She loves to run and would probably enjoy a large backyard where she can sprint her greyhound movements to get out all her energy. She is crate trained and is working on potty training as well as doggie door training. She is a puppy so potty training is crucial for adopter to continue on with until she understands the rules. She is truly a happy girl and deserves to be in a good home where she will be cherished for years to come and I must say she is one of the sweetest more endearing puppies I have ever fostered. The Manchester Terrier is a high-spirited, very intelligent, and cunning dog who is eager to learn. They display the true terrier nature — independent, faithful, lively, sporty, and alert. Discerning and devoted as well, a Manchester Terrier makes a loyal friend and a terrific watchdog.
