Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Winnie needs a home! Location: St. Louis, Missouri.
My name is Winnie, and I am alive!
I don't take it for granted that I am alive. Somehow I wound up in a rural pound, and they scheduled something called a "death date." You see, right now the pounds are all flooded with kittens. So many kittens! The result of people who do not get animals spayed and neutered, but instead let them have litter after litter after litter.
Adult cats can get overlooked with so many kittens in peril. Such was the case with me.
Then my foster mama saw a video of me purring and meowing. She vowed not to let me die, and she drove way out to the country to rescue me from the pound. Then she took me home and told me I will be able to purr for many years to come.
Foster mama says it is difficult to get a good picture of me "As soon as anyone gets close enough she rolls over on her back and waves her paws at you. I thought it was just me, but she does it to everyone."
All I need is my very own human to shower with purrs. I am a very loving and very spunky cat. Will you invite me home and keep me safe for the rest of my life?
